As part of my sharing health tips for the Spring season, I would like to share a little about the Green Dragon, which corresponds to the Wood Element, helps the Liver’s energy, and is particularly useful to help heal physical and emotional traumas.
Out of my five Acuformulas, Acuformula® T5, the Green Dragon, is the most popular and versatile. For over a decade now, I continue to receive amazing feedback from people all over the country of how the Green Dragon helps alleviate their acute and chronic pain, muscle knots and tightness and inflammation from injuries and arthritis. It is especially cool, when I hear that they have tried every topical pain reliever on the market and nothing has worked as well as the Green Dragon.
Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors (and even a Harvard Graduate MD) throughout the United States as well as abroad have used the Green Dragon. Patients usually feel an immediate effect in the office and can carry the roll-on with them as a self-help tool to relieve stress and pain between treatments. More recently I have received positive feedback from psychotherapists using the acuformulas with clients. In particular, the Green Dragon has been helping clients with past emotional traumas and substance abuse. In one case, a young man was having trouble talking about his past experiences. A drop of Green Dragon was put on a tissue for him to smell. The aroma seemed to have an immediate effect of easing his mind and spirit making it easier for him to share.
While the idea of blending the power of three, essential oils, herbs and homeopathy, to create five topical blends that correspond to the Five Elements in Chinese Medicine was my idea, the creation and complexity of mixing the ingredients would not have been possible without the unparalleled expertise and experience of my dear friend and colleague, Dr. E. JauSaune.
Whenever I taught an acupressure class with the use of essential oils, he would sit in the back, like a proud father and be there to answer any tough questions. Although he passed away in 2008, he lives on through the acuformulas and a scholarship in his name funded by sales.
While some people may prefer Acuformula® H5, the cinnamon scented, warming, Blue Dragon for muscle cramps, N6 Yellow Dragon for nausea and digestive problems, R5 White Dragon for cough and respiratory issues, and A7 Bronze(Red) Dragon for anxiety and insomnia, the minty T5 Green Dragon can assist with all these issues and is usually one of the top two that someone chooses to assist with their healing process. Like acupuncture, the acuformulas can be applied to specific points on the body for a variety of healing intentions. As a side note, a couple of my patients have successfully helped their dogs using the acuformulas. Looking forward to more doggy testimonials and helping more people find pain relief in a safe and even fun way.
Don’t forget to join the Acudragon® mailing list for information of upcoming events, books, products, services and classes to come. Feel free to share with others and have a happy spring. ☺
Peace,
William
